Historic
L’écosystème is a response to a reflection initiated by six organizations in the digital creativity field in Saguenay and working in the niche of excellence of arts and culture. They were questioning the reality of current structures for artistic creation in Canada. As a result of the many exchanges resulting from this reflection, l’écosystème was created; the first collaborative entity in the arts and culture environment in Canada. At the forefront of the field of artistic and cultural innovation, l’écosystème unites joint artistic expertise and offers artists and cultural workers, the incubation and acceleration of creative and collaborative projects.
L’écosystème proposes two main avenues of service: hosting international artistic residencies and sharing expertise on mutualization processes.
L’écosystème wishes to highlight the know-how of the six founding member organizations in an innovative cultural ecology for artists. The multidisciplinary team wishes to promote the development of collaborative business models with peer organizations in Quebec and even in Canada.
The creation of collaborative business models is made possible through knowledge sharing via training on mutualization processes and through support for the implementation of collaborative projects.
